Microsoft Dynamics Business Analyzer is a free application (app) that gives you a dashboard for reports, charts, or key performance indicators (KPIs) from Microsoft Dynamics SL. You can use it in the office or on the go, and you can collaborate with others through real-time communication or by sharing a snapshot. The solution is easy to use and is tailored for specific roles, but you can also personalize it to suit your needs.
The app is available for PC (Windows 8 or 8.1), tablet (Windows 8 RT, Windows 8 Pro, and the 8.1 versions of both), and for Windows 8 phones. It will be available for iOS devices with the R7 release in July, and eventually for Android devices. Business Analyzer supports data from SQL Server Analysis Services Cubes, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), and Microsoft Dynamics Management Reporter. The app also enables users to connect to a single service point to return data.
To use Business Analyzer, you have to first configure your Microsoft Dynamics SL environment. Business Analyzer is then installed and configured on each PC or tablet on which it will be used. You can install Business Analyzer on as many devices and workstations as you like, giving users access to Microsoft Dynamics SL data in the form of dashboards without needing to add more Microsoft Dynamics SL licenses.
Business Analyzer gives users an interface to view and interact with Microsoft Dynamics SL SSRS reports that come with the ERP solution out of the box. The app simplifies access to reports, making it easier and faster for users to get the data and analytics needed to make the best decisions.
You can also create an unlimited number of new reports to suit your specific needs, and you can create reports, charts, and KPIs from databases outside of Microsoft Dynamics SL.
